Photos: the District
In this picture, taken from the Hall of Columns on the Senate side of the Capitol, you can see the Statue of Freedom on the Capitol dome.
Inside the Capitol dome, where the relief comes to the Wright brothers launch, then loops back around to precolonial history.
No label on this strange flower at the D.C. Botantical Gardens. Actually, it was growing on the underside of a catwalk on the second floor, forcing me to lean way over the edge for this photo.
A lot of people find this picture to be vaguely disturbing.
I salvaged this blurry cherry blossom photo by photoshopping it to look like a watercolor painting. No filters here, I created this effect myself.
Photo taken around the Jefferson Memmorial.
Washington monument. Nice primary colors.
Nice tertiary colors.
Maine's place in the WW2 Memmorial.
And Washington, D.C.'s.
At the Jefferson Memmorial.
In profile, you can just make out a little curl in his hair in the back.
